Onsite Naturalist
In support of our commitment to environmental stewardship, River Island employs an onsite Naturalist. Responsible for maintaining the community's nature preserve areas, providing wildlife education opportunities, and promoting natural resource conservation practices. Our Naturalist is also in charge of offering special events, seminars, and various outdoor activities for our residents. In the past, these activities have included fly-fishing seminars, outdoor musical performances, paddle trips on the Savannah River, and neighborhood get-togethers.
